What does ADVA do?
ADVA stands for Asociación de Desarrolladores de Videojuegos Argentinos [Association of Video Game Developers of Argentina]. ADVA is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2004.

No. ADVA is an association of businesses and professionals. We do not develop, sponsor, or finance games.

Do you have a mentorship program?
Yes! In 2016, we created MI PRIMER VIDEOJUEGO PROFESIONAL (MPVP) – our mentorship and coaching program. MPVP’s mission is to make sure that more and better Argentinian games exist and are available in various platforms. This is how it works: a mentor guides a group of entrepreneurs via periodic check-ins, which can be either in person or online (remote).
I’m looking for a job, what do you recommend?
Our website has a list of ADVA members. We recommend that you contact them directly to showcase your portfolio/CV and inquire about any openings. Another very interesting option would be for you to join our Discord channel. Last but not least, we suggest that you participate in as many video game development events as you can – they are the best place to meet peers and generate contacts – especially recommended is the Video Game Expo Portfolio Day/Job Fair Argentina (EVA).
I need material for a school/personal project. Does ADVA have marketing information?

ADVA has various exclusive dissemination channels for our members, including newsletter content, social media, in addition to exposure at our own events.

How can I join your events?
We post all our events on social media. Some are open to the community, while others are reserved for members only.
How much does the Association membership cost? Can you pay monthly?
If you are an individual, you can join as an Individual Member or Student, if applicable. If you are a firm (legal entity), we have four types of memberships depending on the size of the business: Micro (up to three employees), Small (between four and 10 employees), Middle (between 11 and 20 employees), and Big (20+ employees).
